Temple House Elopement
Elopement weddings are always fun an Rachael and David’s wedding at Temple House in Sligo was no exception. They were a wonderful couple from America who wanted to get married in Ireland and decided on an exceptional venue to exchange their wedding vows. It was my first time shooting at Temple house, but I had been sent a few ‘must have’ type of shot requests, and one of them was to include sheep! Thankfully their was an abundance of them on site.
Rachael and David also decided to have a first look, which I personally love to shoot when a suitable occasion arises. It was an outdoor ceremony at the ruins of the castle, a little bit away from the main building- so it made sense that they would have a special private moment to see each other for the first time just before they were wed.
I went down a slightly more vintage style in the edit as requested and I actually quite love it as it works for me for this wedding. Thank you to this beautiful and amazing couple and also to the help from their wedding planner Annie from Elope to Ireland as well as the lovely people from Temple House who took care of the lens I left behind.
