How would you describe your style?

I love to observe, to watch and anticipate where the next beautiful moment will occur. I don't believe in setting things up as a natural moment with true expressions makes a far more memorable shot. I would consider myself a wedding photojournalist who likes to get creative!

I really don't like posing, you're not going to be making me pose are you?!

Nope! Hey let's be honest, you're probably here because you were looking for a natural, candid photographer who would let you enjoy your day, yet still capture all those wonderful memories with some fun bridal party shots as well. Many couple who get in touch tell me they are not overly comfortable in front of the camera (me neither!) so they are looking for a photographer who works in a relaxed and natural way, thankfully I constantly get emails from brides who wonder how I got the images as they forgot I was even there.

What about choosing locations for the bridal party shots?

This is something we can chat about, it is completely up to you, however I know all the amazing little places and will always give advice. Sometimes it is great to choose the place you feel connected to, such as the woods where you love to go for a Sunday stroll, or the lake where you proposed, other times the hotel may have incredible grounds with multitudes of options! This is something to chat about, these are your photos so I'll always advise but the final choice or choices are up to you.

I really love your work but we are getting married in ..... will you travel?

Yes! Hey I love to get around, whether it is Galway, Glasgow, Rome or Hawaii, don't hesitate to get in touch!

Do you photograph engagemet/ pre-wedding session?

Couples book engagement sessions for various reason, sometimes because they are a little nervous in front of the camera and want to get a feel of how it will be on the day (they always quickly realise it is great fun and nothing like the expected!). Other book engagement session to have a gorgeous photo that they can have framed on a signing board for guests to write messages on at the reception, but whatever your reason, I love capturing them!
