Sinead and Michael’s wedding in Westport was definitely one to remember, it was a wonderful, fun-filled day with a beautiful bride with a fantastically unique take on her wedding day. Sinead was an absolutely stunning bride, with her hair styled beautifully by Lynda McNally from LS Hair in Westport and gorgeous make-up by leading artist Hayley Coleman. Her flowers were nothing short of a work of art, but I’ve come to expect nothing less from Ruth Healy who I seem to meet at every second wedding, no surprise as you can see her talent in some of the photos below.
It was a particularly stormy day so we had to use a plan B for the photo location- just inside the wall at the entrance to Westport House. In fact it was so windy, the rain was going sideways over our heads, but we had perfect cover from the elements with the high stone wall and no spirits or persons were dampened!
I knew Michael played GAA but was unaware until the speeches of how accomplished he is at the game, it is often an eye-opener what we hear about our brides and grooms until their parents and best men tell us some anecdotes at that time, we were all well entertained and now I have a softer spot for the Dublin team, but keep that to yourselves as it mightn’t go down well here in Mayo…
The night was topped off by the Bentely Boys, nailing it as usual!
